Most of the restaurants in the country serve Romanian food, though they are very similar to western European food. The capital city Bucharest features wide range of International food chains. Chinese, Italian or French anything you name and you will get there. And interestingly, they all are nominally cheaper than restaurants. They sell foods of international standard but with quality lower than that in restaurants. So it is advisable to go for restaurants if you can.
